Pocket Reduction
Are your gums swollen and bleeding? This could be the result of plaque that has formed between your teeth and gum. If this is left untreated, an infection will occur and this can destroy your teeth and the surrounding bones.
With the pocket reduction procedure, we’ll open the pockets and remove the plaques causing infection. We will then reattach the gum to its initial position.

Gum Grafting
Gum recession can expose your tooth, cause tooth sensitivity, which eventually leads to tooth loss if not treated properly. Gum grafting is a procedure that involves adding the necessary gum tissue to offer support for your tooth and the surrounding bone.
There are a few types of gum grafting. These include the following:
- Free gingival graft: this type of graft is suitable for those with thin gums. Graft tissue, which may be taken from the roof of your mouth, will be attached to the gum area for more thickness. This will increase your resistance to infection and also prevent further gum recession.
- Connective Tissue graft: when there’s tooth root exposure, connective tissue graft is the best option. The graft will be stitched to the gum tissue around the exposed root.

Sinus Lift

The length of the sinus lift procedure will depend on your jawbone’s thickness and other factors determined by the dentist. Some patients have to wait three to six months before the dental implants are placed. Some patients can have both procedures done on the same day.

Bone Grafting
Extracting your tooth without a replacement can make your jawbone thin. For some patients, gum disease is the main culprit for losing jawbone.
Whatever the reason, a thin jawbone is unhealthy and makes dental implant procedures impossible. Therefore, bone grafting will improve the bone density to support both your teeth and the dental implants.
Before the procedure, we will assess your jaw first to determine the best bone grafting options for you. After the procedure, you will then have to wait three to six months before dental implants can be fixed.
However, if you will only need minor bone grafting, you can have it done on the same day as your dental implant.
